My good friend Ad McEvoy, master behind all the Drawing Boards artwork, has been painting using decks as canvases for over 10 years. At the moment he's got a display of 40 of his pieces up in The Marwood Coffee Shop, 52, Ship Street in Brighton.
It's up for a little while longer so swing in, grab a bite and have a drool over them at some point. If you're feeling art dealerish they're even up for sale. You know one of those will make a nice addition to the wall.

Getting there

If you're in town this coming Monday, get your ass down to the green at the level and take a gander at the skatepark consultation that'll be happening. The first two went well but this is the big one. You'll be able to see the proposed new design (believe me it's worth checking out), find out all the info on what's going on, give your opinion on it all and most importantly show your support for the project and let the council know how much this is needed. It's going on from 3 till 6, so shoot over at any point if you're about.
