Will Greenfield's latest phone edit, featuring the usuals and their crazy moves. Filmed over the last weeks of winter before all this horrible sunshine kicked in.

While you were sleeping
So, once again the tour diary thing didn't work out too well. Apologies. Gotta give it a go though, eh? Rest of it went well, though, and there'll be some related stuff around soon.
In the mean time, to make up for it we got this beautiful little edit by Ed Hubert of a few late night sessions down the Goon this Winter. Certainly one of the best in recent times. Good work Ed!
In order of appearance:
Dan Emmerson
William Greenfield
Al Hodgson
Jake Wisdom
Niall Birnie
Liam Teague
Dexter Daniels
Matt Ransom
Zak Miller
Ollie Smith

Day 2
Prepared a lot better for a post today with a few sick photos, but unfortunately it hasn't turned out too practical to get them up right now, so here's hoping to a double post tomorrow.
On the plus side, Zak and Jak hit some serious bangers over in Southampton for the upcoming Drawing Boards full length vid, and then we shot over Bournemouth for Zak to hit up 10 tricks on the steep as chips velodrome bank, which will be up online in the near future...so at least that's more to look forward to in your already full-to-the-brim with excitement lives
Try again later! xx

Tour Blog Diary Attempt No. 2
Right, so we're just getting to the end of the first day of another mini Drawing Boards filming mission, this time staying round the south coast way. Thought I'd try and do the daily updates again, but not promising anything this time.
Today we were somewhere near Southampton, checked out a few new spots and filmed the odd thing but forgot to take any photos. Only managed this sequence of Ginge...
...not feeling so good this morning...
...it finally getting the better of him on the side of the road...
...having to clean up what he couldn't aim through the window...
...and attempting to sleep it off.
The Sick On The Door Tour. Feel better mate. More tomorrow!!

SUP!
Back online, hopefully you lot haven't lost faith and stopped checking this place.
So what's been happening? Well, saw what the Level will potentially look like very soon. All I can say is, bloody hell. (Oh, and no, you can't see it)
Also just got back from an initial design meet for a park hopefully being built in my local haunts of Steyning around the time the world ends. Another sick little concrete one for those of you who leave Brighton.
PUSH's website is up and running, and looking goooood. Not only can you keep up with the latest shop related shit, but you can now also BUY ONLINE from the store. Show your support with a nice bit of wood straight to your bedroom!

Last Sunday's Skate Arc session kicked off, and the ramp saw some sick skating once everyone got used to it wobbling underneath them. Big thanks to everyone that made it happen, and turned up to skate / watch. Hopefully the beast is being relocated to bring some life to the last months of the old Level. Watch this space.
Here's Isaac proving that it is definitely skateable.
And finally, Al Hodgson has uploaded his full length film from 2008 'Another Angle' for your viewing eyes. Check it out below to see some pre-university Brighton rippers

Move the Manual Box - Attempt No. 2
Right, so despite nobody bothering to turn up to the meeting to move the box at the beginning of the month (nice one), the project's been saved to try again. This time with a 20 second online survey. This will take less time than it takes to scratch your arse and it is VERY important that many people fill it in if you want this to happen, so please get straight on it and pass it on. Unfortunately you only have until WEDNESDAY to fill this in before it's closed and the decision is made, so get to it!
Remember that the five choices are just the rough areas. The date that this happens will be announced and you will have the chance to shoot down and give your opinion on the specific place/angle etc. The box will be moved some time in March, and as a bonus, the halfpipe should be fixed of all it's dangerous flaws on the same day!
THANK YOU

Same Old...
Once again I've been sans computer the last fortnight or so. Two weeks of swapping out parts and 20 mile round trips with the thing hasn't got it closer to working yet. Fingers crossed...
Big big congrats to Drawing Boards' main man Ads who's just had a baby girl. Some new stuff from the DB camp out soon.
May be seeing something on Wednesday that should make you al jealous. Check back to find out.
Anything been going on in the interweb world? Send it over.

The Lower Level
Stephen Nowak, the Level. 1989
Lot of history at that place. Apparently that bowl in the picture is still underneath the existing park.
The level ain't been in the best shape for a good few years, but it's redevelopment has never ever been closer. A lot of the funding is secured, and the design has been started. Watch this space...

Goon change - Come give your opinion
Last year an online survey was posted on here asking how the Goon could be improved. A large number of answers related to the repositioning of the above obstacle, which means we have been able to secure the funding to get a crane in to drag it off somewhere. Because this is an official Council budget grant dealy thing, there has to be an official consultation on it, so if you want to chip in with where you think the best place for it to go would be, shoot over to the Watersports café (that's the one further along the wall from the skatepark, by the lake) on Saturday the 4th at 1pm and tell 'em!

Anyway, another sick idea straight out of the shop - here's the brief...
Hill Bomb Contest
"Time to get the cameras out again for a chance to win a new board, its simple find the biggest hill and go as fast as possible!

BYC Jammin'
BYC skate park have two all age events happening this month -
Firstly a rad little jam happening this Saturday
and secondly a sponsored endurance skate fundraiser on Sunday the 22nd. Raise sponsorship money and take part in a 10 hour skate challenge.
The challenge will take place in teams organised on the day so you will get a chance to rest when you need to. Sponsorship forms available from PUSH, Ocean Sports, Vans Shop, Select Clothing Shop, Route One and BYC, or email darren@brightonyouthcentre .org.uk
PLENTY amazing prizes up for grabs for raising money and competing in challenges. Both are happening to raise money for a banging 30ft miniramp to go in there!

The year that was
Well, that was a fun year. All in all I hope you'll agree it was pretty sick! I'd say everything I'd hoped for at the end of last year certainly came true. Can't ask for much more.
Heavy sessions, crazy events, a new shop and a stupid number of skaters around and killing it - not only did the scene receive some much needed electric shock therapy to bounce back in to life, but things have been progressing real well behind the scenes this year too. So expect all that even bigger, plus more to boot. Off the top of my head -
Couple changes to the Goon itself
BYC reform with a sick new miniramp
MUCH more news on the Level becoming one of the best parks in the country
Even bigger Paddle round the Pier
Another Goon jam or three
Should probably do another reunion
Maybe Ronaldo should come back this year too
Plenty more full content on here
Drawing Boards video
Like
!0,000 Stones
Another vid which will be revealed at some point
Why wouldn't you want have all this in your life? Just make sure you're there. And stay out of Stoneham park.
Get yourself more hyped with this look back at the last 365. It's just gonna get better...
"We started off thinking it would stay unnoticed in Brighton's skate scene. But due to the commitment of the skaters in the video, recently it has been more noticed."
"I'd make my mum think I was leaving for school, grab my skateboard on the way out the door then literally get changed in the street on the walk to school"
